Other Qualifications: Must be able to perform regional blocks (nerve blocks) for high volume ortho patients; Must be able to take call 3p–7a during the week when needed
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas including Vascular, OB/GYN, General, GI, Peds, Plastics, Ortho, Robotics, and Urology.
- Perform regional blocks (nerve blocks) for a high volume of orthopedic patients.
- Cover a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio, supervising and collaborating with CRNAs.
- Take call from 3:00p – 7:00a during the week as needed.
- Utilize MAC, Regional, Spinal, and ultrasound-guided techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across various surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, and obstetric procedures. Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs while performing regional blocks and managing clinical call shifts.
Requirements
Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Requires current ACLS and PALS certifications along with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.
