Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner evaluates, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic pain conditions using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and perform interventional procedures within their scope of practice.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. National board certification in a relevant specialty and a current DEA permit to prescribe controlled substances are required.
