Job description

Key Responsibilities
- Properly identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services on patients with the maximum amount of care, while evaluating the technical quality.
- Responsible for successful technical continuity of care and education of radiological procedures to patients.
- Demonstrates competency in the knowledge of the RIS/HIS modules appropriate to their job responsibilities.
- Assists in gathering and recording data for Radiology Quality.
Requirements
- TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Experience as a radiologic technologist preferred, and ongoing training in department procedures.
- Must rotate through all areas of diagnostic radiology.

- Part-Time position.

Licensure & Certifications
Candidates must graduate from an ARRT recognized program or be ARRT registered/eligible, passing the registry within one year if not already registered; NJ staff require a current state license before hire. Experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred, and current BLS certification is required within three months of hiring, along with prior computer usage experience.
