Ready to join our quest for better? Job DescriptionThis is a part time position at 20 hours per week located at Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital. This role is a part of the Weekend Program and offers premium pay on top of base pay.

## Schedule is Saturday and Sunday 10a-830p, with on call and holiday rotation. **The  CT Technologist Weekend  reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains account

  • ability for patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care. Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards. Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges. Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met. Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring (as applicable). Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness. Identifies equipment performance issues and initiates follow-up through established service processes. Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies. Key Responsibilities

The CT Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic-quality images and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process. Key duties include administering contrast, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program with BLS certification and IEMA accreditation. ARRT CT certification is required within 12 months of hire, with a preference for those with one year of experience.
