Job Description
Position Summary
The Physical Therapist reads patient's charts, evaluates patient's physical needs, and forms conclusions reflecting patient's progress on basis of both sensory or judgmental criteria, and measurable and verifiable criteria, indicated by their reaction to therapy activities.
Education & Experience
- Graduate of school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, required
- Must be licensed by the Mississippi Board of Physical Therapy, required
- BLS/CPR certification, preferred
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist is responsible for reading patient charts and evaluating physical needs to develop appropriate therapy plans. They must monitor patient progress and adjust therapy activities based on measurable and verifiable criteria.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an American Physical Therapy Association-approved school and hold a valid Mississippi state license. A BLS/CPR certification is also preferred for this position.
