• Location: RMC Facility - Lake Butler, Florida
• Position: Part-time Pharmacist.

Shift Schedule

• Part-time Pharmacist will work every other weekend
• Saturday and Sunday
• 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Rotating Holidays

Minimum Qualifications

License to practice pharmacy is required in the state of the position. Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states, as needed.

• 1-2 years of Pharmacist experience is required

• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.

• Understands, promotes, and complies with rules and regulations governing residents' rights.
• Keeps abreast of current state, federal and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Adhere to regulatory and company compliance, including OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Solutions Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Policies and Procedures.

• Advise pharmacy staff on changes to any known regulatory changes/updates.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Person needs to have strong oral and written skills.

Must possess strong leadership abilities to coordinate multiple associates and provide direction to accomplish job functions.

• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point or other Windows based software programs.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.

Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Duties include

Assists in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor.

Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees.

• Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.

Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping.

Communicates well and maintains positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions.

Other special projects and duties as assigned by Pharmacy Supervisor.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk and stand. Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

Occasional physical effort with light to medium objects. Occasionally required to lift objects 10-25 pounds.

Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
