EPIC proficiency, willingness to adhere to lodging requirements, clean malpractice/background, available for specified dates
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for emergency department hand injuries
- Manage transfer center calls
- Perform hand surgery procedures (excluding reimplantation)
- Collaborate with trauma team
- Document patient care in EPIC
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour call coverage for emergency department hand injuries and manage transfer center calls. Collaborate with the trauma team and document patient care within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Hand Surgeon with an active Colorado medical license and DEA certification. Requires completion of a Hand Surgery fellowship and proficiency in EPIC.
