Job Description
Associate Veterinarian
Animal Hospital of Humble | Humble, Texas
Are you an experienced veterinarian who values practicing thoughtful medicine, building lasting client relationships, and working alongside a dedicated veterinary team? Animal Hospital of Humble is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our established small-animal practice and help us continue delivering the quality care our community has come to know.
A Hospital Where Relationships Matter
At Animal Hospital of Humble, we believe great veterinary medicine starts with caring people. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care while treating pets and their families with courtesy and respect.
Our hospital provides a broad range of services, including wellness and preventive care, general medicine, surgical procedures, dentistry, digital radiography, microchipping, and in-house laboratory diagnostics. We also offer an in-house pharmacy, prescription diets, and boarding services to support the needs of our patients and clients.
With established hospital resources and a dedicated support team, you'll have the opportunity to practice medicine across a variety of cases, develop meaningful relationships with clients, and make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families.
What We're Looking For
- A DVM/VMD degree and eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas.
- Small-animal clinical experience and confidence managing medical cases.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and a commitment to high-quality medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A collaborative, compassionate approach to patient care and teamwork.
- An interest in contributing your experience and ideas to an established practice.
- We're especially interested in an experienced veterinarian who is ready to bring sound clinical judgment, a steady approach to case management, and a genuine commitment to patient care to their next role.
- Make Humble, Texas, your home
Humble offers a comfortable suburban lifestyle with easy access to the restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and cultural attractions of the greater Houston area. It's a great location for someone who wants access to a major metropolitan area without living in the middle of the city.
When you're off the clock, explore the trails and natural spaces at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, stroll through Mercer Botanic Gardens, enjoy outdoor recreation around Lake Houston, or discover local restaurants and community events. Houston's museums, live music, professional sports, and diverse dining scene are also within reach.
Whether you enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new restaurants, or taking advantage of big-city amenities, the Humble area offers plenty of ways to make the most of your time away from the hospital.
