DESCRIPTION

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible emergency

medicine physician to join our exceptional Marco Island Urgent Care team.

Located in one of Southwest Florida's most desirable coastal communities, this

opportunity combines a clinical practice with an unmatched lifestyle. Our

physicians enjoy the support, resources, and integration of a leading healthcare

system while caring for a growing patient population in a state-of-the-art

setting.

State-of-the-Art Facility

* Modern 25,000-square-foot urgent care center

* 12 private exam rooms

* Dedicated triage room

* On-site laboratory services

* Advanced digital x-ray capabilities

* CT imaging available on-site

* Access to radiology support and comprehensive diagnostic services

* EMR: EPIC

* Annual Volume: 8,000

* Physician Coverage: 8 a. m. to 8 p. m.

* APC Coverage: 8 a. m. to 6 p. m. December to March

* RN Coverage: 2 to 3 RNs present the entire shift

* Certifications Required: ACLS and PALs, unless ABEM boarded

Physician-Led Care Model

* Staffed by board-certified physicians

* Supported by experienced registered nurses and clinical staff

* Ability to manage a broad range of urgent and emergent presentations

* Two negative-pressure rooms to support infection control and airborne

isolation precautions

Comprehensive Patient Care

* IV infusion services

* Lacerations/injuries

* Workers compensation cases

* Blood testing and point-of-care diagnostics

* Seamless access to NCH specialists and hospital services

* Integrated healthcare system allowing direct referral, consultation, and

transfer when needed

Qualifications

* MD or DO degree

* Board-certified or board-eligible in EM

* Eligible for Florida medical licensure

* Strong commitment to quality, service excellence, and patient-centered care
