The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing and medical care to critically ill cardiac patients within an intensive care setting. They perform comprehensive assessments, establish diagnoses, and coordinate care in collaboration with the cardiovascular critical care team.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing and be licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia with Acute Care certification (ACNP or AGACNP). Additionally, current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
