Job Description

Physical Therapist Per Diem

$60/hour, per diem Physical Therapist at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ. Build your own schedule up to 40 hours a week, days only, weekends optional if you want them. Certified a Great Place to Work nine years running.

The Shores is a full continuum of care community a short walk from the Ocean City beach and boardwalk, with independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing and rehab all on one campus. As our per diem PT, you'll treat a mix of residents, from short term rehab patients working to get home to long term residents rebuilding strength and confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate residents and build individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands on therapy to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence
  • Document evaluations and progress so the care team stays aligned
  • Communicate resident progress with nurses, aides, and families when appropriate
  • Follow professional and regulatory standards for PT practice in New Jersey

What You'll Need

  • Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • Active New Jersey PT license
  • Prior experience treating adults in a sub-acute and/or home care setting

Preferred

  • Experience with Net Health Therapy documentation software
  • Good to Know

This role requires a negative pre-employment drug screening. A flu vaccination is also required to protect residents; medical and religious exemptions are considered.
