ABOUT SYNAPSE INTEGRATIVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Synapse Integrative Behavioral Health is a collaborative outpatient practice dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized mental health care. Our multidisciplinary team works together to support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral health concerns.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Therapist to join our growing clinical team. This opportunity is open to candidates licensed as an LCSW, LSW, or LPC in New Jersey.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Licensed Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals with a variety of behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will be committed to building strong therapeutic relationships, delivering evidence-based care, and collaborating with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy based on patient needs and professional experience.
* Deliver evidence-based and patient-centered therapeutic interventions.
* Evaluate patient progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
* Coordinate care with outside providers, families, and community resources when appropriate and authorized.
* Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically necessary.
* Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect patient confidentiality.
* Follow all organizational policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
* Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
* Current New Jersey license as one of the following:
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
* Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
* Ability to provide compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care.
* Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative treatment team.
* Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services is preferred.
* Experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, or other mental health conditions is preferred.
