Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for conducting pulmonary function screenings and diagnostic tests to assess lung function. They also provide patient education on respiratory equipment and administer necessary respiratory treatments.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist. Experience in performing spirometry testing is required, along with NBRC or CPFT certification preferred.
