Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will assess and document respiratory therapies while administering aerosolized and oxygen treatments to adult and geriatric patients. They are also responsible for managing ventilator support, performing pulmonary function tests, and collaborating with medical teams on patient treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program and hold NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credentials along with CPFT certification. At least two years of recent respiratory therapy experience and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
