Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing pulmonary function screenings, spirometry testing, and administering respiratory treatments. They also provide patient education on equipment and medications while collaborating with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist. Experience in performing spirometry testing and NBRC or CPFT certification is preferred.
