Key Responsibilities
The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for older adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses. They lead a multidisciplinary care team and maintain accountability for patient outcomes while coordinating care across various settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics, along with an active state medical license. Board eligibility is required, and candidates must possess a current DEA number and Basic Life Support certification.
