Job Description
PartneredWell is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead the clinical rollout of employer health programs across Urgent Team’s network of 80+ health centers and onsite employer clinics.
Summary
PartneredWell works with businesses, school systems, and municipalities to give their employees access to healthcare services such as priority access and onsite medication dispensing. As Director of Clinical Services, you’ll help clinics deliver the services each employer has signed up for.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you’ll work with the PartneredWell Employer Solutions team, operations leaders, and frontline clinicians to prepare clinics for new client launches and monitor how programs are working. When visit data or frontline feedback points to a problem, you’ll work directly with providers and clinic teams to understand what’s getting in the way, agree on a fix, and follow up to see if it worked.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the clinical side of new employer program launches. Work with PartneredWell and clinic operations to prepare teams, train providers and support staff, and verify that clinics are meeting client commitments, priority access standards, and reporting requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinicians with questions about program workflows, protocols, and medication dispensing. Coach providers and bring recurring issues and frontline feedback to clinical and operational leadership.
- Use chart audits and center and client scorecards to track visit times, protocol adherence, medication utilization, visit volume, patient satisfaction, and chronic condition management. Work with the Chief Medical Officer and operations leaders to address gaps through coaching, training, and follow-up.
- Oversee the onsite medication dispensing program, including formulary and stocking standards, vendor performance, and rollout to new clinics. Support provider adoption when clinically appropriate and partner with Finance to track and communicate pharmacy savings to clients.
- Develop and update clinical workflows, protocols, standing orders, and training materials for urgent care, primary care, chronic condition management, occupational health, lab, and X-ray services.
- Support patient safety and incident reviews, help clinics meet regulatory, scope-of-practice, and medication-handling requirements, and escalate concerns promptly.
What's Required?
- Master’s degree and current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Valid Tennessee NP or PA license, DEA license, and current BLS certification
- 7–10 years of clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, employer-sponsored or onsite health, occupational medicine, or ambulatory care, including 3–5 years in clinical leadership, quality, or multi-site operations
- Ability to build relationships with providers, coach peers through changes in clinical practice, and communicate clearly with clinic leaders, executives, and clients
- Ability to travel up to 25% across the network, with some trips lasting up to a week around new client launches
