Long Term Care Pharmacist- PRN - Symbria Rx New England

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to add to our growing team at our Pharmacy located in Auburn, Massachusetts!

Responsibilities

Possess knowledgeable understanding of current medication information, health care concepts and all regulations relative to the practices of institutional pharmacy.

Interpret and assess new and refill order requests accurately to ensure appropriate therapy and maintain patient safety.

Clarify inappropriate physician orders when necessary.

Prepare and complete all appropriate documentation required on orders, prescriptions, controlled substance records, general workflow, etc.

Provide physicians, nursing staff, and public with drug information such as drug selection, dosage, proper administration, etc.

Work Schedule

• Weekend - 12pm - 8:30pm or 7pm- 5:30am (overnight)
• Week Days - 2:30pm -11pm, 7pm- 5:30am (overnight), 7am - 2:30pm

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from NABP accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Institutional pharmacy experience required.
• Valid state registered pharmacist license.
