Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Home Health (PRN)

Position Summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Home Health team on a PRN basis in Suffolk, VA. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve their daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
• Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans
• Assist patients in improving functional abilities and independence in daily activities
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Active state license in Virginia
• Previous home health experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
