Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will provide advanced care to patients under physician direction, promoting wellness and counseling on preventative care, including performing phlebotomy, point of care testing, and vaccinations in a partner clinic. Responsibilities also include assessing and treating patients for urgent care, primary care, and routine physical exams, as well as providing acute and chronic medical care.
Requirements
A Master's degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program are required, along with current NCCPA certification and Florida licensure or license eligibility by the hire date. Candidates must also obtain BLS certification within 90 days and practice under an approved supervisory agreement.
