Key Responsibilities

The occupational therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, or psychosocial deficits by designing and implementing individualized care plans. They also document patient progress, educate families, and oversee the work of certified occupational therapy assistants and technicians.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license. A BLS provider certification is required within 30 days of hire, and experience in acute care is preferred.
