Job Description

• Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care – Northern Oakland County - Pay Per Visit (contingent)
• The position will be in the Territory of North Oakland County

Under the guidance of the therapy supervisor, you'll bring treatment programs to life by designing and leading a dynamic range of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging, personalized treatment programs tailored to each client's goals and abilities

Design and facilitate creative sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities that inspire progress and joy

Work collaboratively with the therapy supervisor and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care

• Track client progress and adjust activities to maximize therapeutic outcomes and client satisfaction
• Build meaningful connections with clients and caregivers, creating a supportive and motivating environment
• Document activities and outcomes to maintain accurate records and support ongoing care planning

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:

Four (4) year baccalaureate degree program accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Licenses/Certifications

• Registration by the State of Michigan as an occupational therapist.
• Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Experience Requirments

One (1) year of clinical experience.

Physical Demands

May need to lift, carry, bend, stoop or be otherwise physically active in the normal course of job duties.

Working Conditions

• Works in the client's home which is an uncontrolled environment.
• May be exposed to potentially infectious materials, bloodborne-disease pathogens and hazardous waste.
• Drives to and from the clients' homes located in the Detroit Metropolitan area in varied weather and traffic conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
