Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for pediatric orthopedic emergencies in the ED and inpatient units.
- Manage inpatient consultations and follow-ups for pediatric orthopedic patients.
- Perform emergency surgical procedures as needed.
- Coordinate care with ED physicians and other specialists.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for pediatric orthopedic emergencies and manage inpatient consultations and follow-ups. Coordinate care with emergency department physicians and perform necessary emergency surgical procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and hold a valid Missouri or IMLC license. Required certifications include BLS, ATLS, and PALS, with a preference for fellowship training.
