Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will provide clinical and surgical support to the thoracic surgery team, including first-assisting in the operating room and managing perioperative patient care. Responsibilities also include performing physical examinations, monitoring postoperative recovery, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a current New York State license and NCCPA certification. Previous surgical experience, particularly in thoracic or cardiothoracic surgery, is strongly preferred.
