Key Responsibilities

The Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider manages complex patient evaluations and provides clinical care in an inpatient cardiology setting under physician supervision. They coordinate pre- and post-operative care, assist with invasive procedures, and ensure compliance with ACC and NYS DOH reporting standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or a current RN license with AANP/ANCC certification. BLS, ACLS, and AED certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are mandatory.
