Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Schedule/ Hours: Per diem What the Radiologic Technologist will do: Greet patients, explain procedures and answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures. Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures. Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique. Assist physicians during specialized procedures. Evaluate images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading. Print charts Access and document patient information in the patient medical record. Input entry and selection of charges. What the Radiologic Technologist will need: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Key Responsibilities
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiologic examinations and assists physicians during specialized procedures. They are also responsible for patient instruction, image evaluation within PACS, and documenting patient information in medical records.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
