Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Navigator collaborates with providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care from diagnosis through survivorship. They provide patient education, perform telephone triage, and act as a liaison between infusion nursing and medical staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in Nursing and an active Alabama RN license, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required, including at least one year in acute care or oncology.
