Seeking a Provider for Part-Time or Full-Time

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. This includes providing general and preventive care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and prescribing medications. The NP plays a vital role in all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and consultation, while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner Essential Functions:

· Performing physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses

· Administering and performing diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests

· Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones

· Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed

· Educating and counseling patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care

· Facilitating the patient’s transition within and between health care settings, e. g., admitting, transferring, and discharging patients

· Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.

· Planning and managing patient care according to the patient’s needs

· Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc.

· Actively maintaining knowledge of current medical research and trends

Nurse Practitioner Required Skills/Abilities

· Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work

· Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare workers, and collaborate with team members

· Must be able to think critically, evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify the one he or she decides will have the best outcome

· Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced yet friendly environment

· Must be well organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility

· Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion concerning health service records and information

Education and Experience

· Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse licensure required

· Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursing
