Overview: Position: Northside Gwinnett Occupational Therapist- OutpatientLocation: Lawrenceville, GeorgiaExperience: Outpatient Occupational Therapist with experience evaluating and treating neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Employment Type: Full-TimeInnovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy management organization that was founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for an Occupational Therapist with a passion for providing excellent patient experiences in the outpatient setting. The primary patient population is primarily patients with neurologic injury or impairment with a smaller ortho impairment population.

This Occupational therapist will provide specialized treatment to patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team comprised of Physical, Occupational and Speech Language Pathologists. Patient care approach includes individualized one-on-one treatment for patients with a focus on regaining functional independence and safe mobility after neurologic events such as stroke, hemorrhage or spinal cord injury. All services provided in a state-of-the-art facility with evidence based equipment to aid in providing the highest level of care to the diverse population of Gwinnett County.

We Are Seeking

Experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong drive to learn and grow - enhance your clinical skills while working with an experienced team

  • Candidate with a strong emphasis on patient care, quality, outcomes, and efficiency
  • Graduate from accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Licensed as occupational therapist in state of Georgia.
  • Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Current AHA BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with neurologic and orthopedic conditions in an outpatient setting. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care focused on regaining functional independence and safe mobility.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and hold a valid Georgia state license. A current AHA BLS certification and experience in treating neurologic and orthopedic conditions are required.
