Mental Health Worker - Geropsychiatric Unit (Nights)

shift 7pm - 7am with alternating weekends.

Towson, Md: In-person

The Geropsychiatric Unit is a12-bed unit designed for short-term evaluation and
treatment of severe clinical depression, psychiatric complications of dementing
illness, and other problems requiring 24-hour hospital care.

As a Mental Health Worker you will

* Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient
behaviors.
* Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan
and under the direction of a professional nurse.
* Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to
established policies and procedures
* Provide ADL assistance.

The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum.  Pay for
this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited
to, years and level of related experience.

Requires

* HS Diploma/GED.  Human Services related degree or past direct care or related
experience strongly preferred.
* Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
* All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical
orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
