About the Role
Astera Cancer Care is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist to join its physician-owned, multidisciplinary oncology practice, where collaboration and patient-centered care are at the core of everything we do. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care across both hematology and medical oncology while working alongside specialists in radiation oncology, breast surgery, palliative care, and clinical research to deliver coordinated, evidence-based treatment plans. Physicians will also provide coverage at Community Medical Center and Ocean University Medical Center, helping ensure seamless care across the continuum. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive hematology and medical oncology care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment plans. Ensure seamless patient care by providing coverage at designated medical centers and participating in clinical research initiatives.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology. Experienced physicians are preferred, though fellows are encouraged to apply.
