Heart + Paw is seeking an experienced Partner Veterinarian for our Partner
Hospital, South Peak Veterinary Hospital, located in the vibrant city of
Saugerties, NY. This unique opportunity is ideal for veterinarians interested in
stepping into a Medical Director role with the option to co-own a full-service

Your Role as Partner Veterinarian
As the primary leader at South Peak Veterinary Hospital, you will oversee the
center’s daily operations, quality of care, and client experience.
Responsibilities include
* Leading a team to deliver high-quality, client-focused veterinary services.
* Promoting preventive care and ensuring compliance with veterinary standards
and Heart + Paw protocols.
* Acting as a role model and brand champion for Heart + Paw within the
community.
* Guiding and mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff to enhance
skills and patient care.
* Communicating effectively with clients, utilizing technology for
telemedicine, texting, and email.
* Collaborating with the Center Director to manage team hiring, training, and
scheduling.
* Participating in planning, budgeting, and financial performance reviews,
sharing insights with Heart + Paw leadership.
Qualifications
* Veterinary medical degree with a license in good standing with the applicable
state board.
* A minimum of 4-5 years of clinical experience and a strong client-focused
approach.
* Demonstrated leadership experience and an interest in practice ownership.
* Proven ability to build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional
service.
* Interest in leveraging technology to advance veterinary practices and improve
the client/pet experience.
* Highly collaborative with strong business acumen, financial insights, and a
consumer-centric mindset.
* Fear Free and HABRI certification (or a desire to obtain these).

The pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position and is
determined based on experience, skill set, location and other factors.
