About our Rehabilitation Network

Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is the premier rehabilitation provider in Connecticut. We provide rehabilitation services across the continuum - acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation, homecare, outpatient centers, and in community settings such as senior centers, work sites, and schools and colleges. We offer over 40 outpatient locations offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy, in specialties including orthopedics, neuroscience, oncology, women’s health, sports medicine, vestibular, and more. Your Impact

The Occupational Therapist (OT) independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, restore and remediate, in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Reports to Occupational Therapy Supervisor.

  • Current Connecticut OT or temporary license required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist independently evaluates patients and determines treatment strategies to maximize function in daily living, leisure, and productivity. They address dysfunctions in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components within an acute care setting.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current Connecticut OT license (or temporary license) and a current BLS certification. The ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction is required.
