Co-Occurring Counselor/ Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The counselor will interview and evaluate consumers to develop collaborative treatment plans and provide clinical services for mental health and substance use issues. They are also responsible for facilitating group programs, providing crisis intervention, and teaching life-management skills to support consumer recovery.

Requirements

Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. Applicants must be eligible for or hold a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification and possess a valid driver's license.
