Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist manages pharmacy benefits by performing literature reviews to develop clinical criteria and conducting medical necessity reviews for prior authorizations. They act as a liaison between the health plan and customers to ensure cost-effective drug selection and high-quality member care.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a degree in Pharmacy preferred. Candidates must obtain a Pennsylvania Pharmacist license within 90 days of hire.
