Key Position Details

• Hybrid - Rounding and OR work
• 1.0 position / 40 hours per week
• 10-hour days
• Inpatient and outpatient position
• Includes weekend rotation, approximately 1 weekend per month

• Principle Responsibilities:
• Completes comprehensive patient assessments.
• Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness.
• Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician.
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment.
• Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care.

Job Requirements

• Master's degree completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required.
• At least one year of experience post Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training preferred.
• Cardiology experience preferred.

Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA -National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) - American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire.

• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP candidates)
• Active MN NP/PA license (or ability to obtain).
• BLS certification required with in 180 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $56.48 to $78.15 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
