Job Description
Administers radiation treatments in a precise manner, carefully reproducing the treatment daily, and making adjustments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist

Job Requirements
1. Education: Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Radiation Therapist in NYS
2. Experience: Satisfactory completion of formal radiation therapy technology education from an accredited program.
3. License/Certification Eligibility: Must be New York State licensed or qualified to be licensed. If qualified to be licensed the validation of a degree in a radiation therapy program as well as a temporary NYS license and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy must be provided. Must become licensed in NYS before temporary license expires. American Heart Association CPR Certification required. ARRT Certification preferred.

Requirements
Requires completion of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and eligibility for New York State licensure. Must hold or be eligible for ARRT certification and maintain current American Heart Association CPR certification.
