Administers radiation treatments in a precise manner, carefully reproducing the
treatment daily, and making adjustments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist
Salary
$40-$52.52 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for
this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s
compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but
not limited to, market data, education, experience,
Job Requirements
1. Education: Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Radiation Therapist
in NYS
2. Experience: Satisfactory completion of formal radiation therapy technology
education from an accredited program.
3. License/Certification Eligibility: Must be New York State licensed or
qualified to be licensed. If qualified to be licensed the validation of a
degree in a radiation therapy program as well as a temporary NYS license and
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy must be provided. Must become
licensed in NYS before temporary license expires. American Heart
Association CPR Certification required. ARRT Certification preferred.

Administers precise radiation treatments to patients while carefully reproducing treatment plans daily. Collaborates with the Radiation Oncologist to make necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
Requirements
Requires completion of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and eligibility for New York State licensure. Must hold or be eligible for ARRT certification and maintain current American Heart Association CPR certification.
