Key Responsibilities

The Social Worker III performs complex social services work, including acting as a liaison for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure appropriate care and support. They also supervise staff, coordinate admissions and discharges, and develop training materials to promote self-advocacy and rights.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in social work with three years of experience, or a Master's degree in Social Work, and possess a valid LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW license. Additionally, one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities is required.
