Key Responsibilities
The radiation therapist provides safe and quality care by performing technical procedures to deliver accurate radiation doses to patients. Responsibilities include operating treatment machines, fabricating immobilization devices, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program and hold current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience and CPR certification are required.
