The Physician Assistant will perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and manage patient care plans within the correctional facility. They are responsible for documenting patient encounters, coordinating specialty consults, and responding to medical emergencies.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be a New York State Licensed Physician Assistant. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is also required.
