Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The counselor provides recovery-oriented services to participants, including conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based counseling. They also coordinate care within the Individual Recovery Plan and support participants in developing relapse prevention strategies.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and have at least one year of experience working with the substance use disorder population. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to pass a criminal background check, and current First Aid/CPR certification.
