Key Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing is responsible for establishing nursing objectives, developing policies, and providing administrative guidance to ensure high-quality patient care. They oversee daily operations, manage staff performance, and ensure the facility remains in compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license and possess strong management and communication skills. The role requires the ability to initiate nursing judgment and a commitment to achieving gerontological certification within two years.
