Key Responsibilities

The Unit Chief provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary academic treatment team and oversees the delivery of high-quality patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Responsibilities include direct clinical care, training and supervision of residents and fellows, and participation in quality improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must be a board certified or board eligible Psychiatrist with a valid New York State medical license. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, teaching skills, and the ability to lead a collaborative, performance-driven team.
