Key Responsibilities

The APP manages a caseload of critically ill patients in an intensive care setting by performing physical exams, ordering diagnostics, and implementing treatment plans. They also contribute to clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and the education of healthcare learners.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's or DNP degree in a relevant Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and possess current, unrestricted licensure in North Carolina. At least one year of critical care experience is preferred, though new graduates with relevant clinical backgrounds will be considered.
