Job Responsibilities
Facilitate Patient-Dentist Interaction: Act as a key liaison between the dentist and patients, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
Perform Dental Prophylaxis: Conduct thorough cleanings and preventive care to maintain and improve oral health.
- Conduct Oral Cancer Screenings: Regularly perform screenings to detect early signs of oral cancer.
- Execute Radiographic Studies: Take and analyze X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Chart Dental Conditions: Accurately document conditions of decay, disease, and other dental issues in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
Perform Additional Procedures: Carry out various dental procedures in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
Job Qualifications
Valid RDH License: Current Registered Dental Hygienist license required, or application for new graduates awaiting licensure.
Active CPR Certification: Must possess up-to-date CPR certification.
