Work Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts across the week, with 10-hour shifts available after training!
Daylight and evening shifts, Monday through Friday.
Weekend shifts every other weekend, with a variety of daylight, evening, and night shifts in the weekend rotation.
Holiday rotation, as needed.
No on-call or travel required!
New and soon-to-be graduates (Radiology, Diagnostic, X-Ray) are encouraged to apply – we will train!

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion.
Applicants with at least 6 months of experience are eligible for our Night Program ($4.00 shift differential) and our Weekend Program (additional 15%25 incentive to salary)! Details can be provided during the interview process!
Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostic radiography procedures and utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data according to protocol.
Identifies all patients properly by using two patient identifiers.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner, and explains procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.
Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.
Administers PO and rectal contrast per physician orders/department policy.
Ensures all exams within area of responsibility are properly coded and tracked through RIS system, all exams are properly networked to ISITE for archiving and interpretation, and all charges are adequately entered for the exams performed.
Demonstrates the ability to interact with both patients and co-workers, while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect.
Able to work as team member within the department and all other departments to expedite patient care efficiently.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
Technologists cannot work in an Outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained.
Must obtain Radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI clearances with renewals.

Requirements
Must be a graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology and obtain ARRT registry within six months of hire. Required certifications include BLS or CPR and various state and federal background clearances.
