  • Collaborate with other early intervention providers (e. g., occupational therapists, speech therapists, educators) to ensure integrated services.
  • Maintain open, respectful, and supportive communication with families and caregivers.
  • Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to optimize the child’s participation in daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and IFSP updates, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure services align with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C requirements.
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy and early intervention.
  • Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings.

  • Experience in pediatrics or early intervention is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of IDEA Part C and family-centered practices.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in documenting services using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
