Nurse Practitioner-Virtual Mental Health & Addictions

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality, culturally safe mental health and addictions care virtually and in-person, conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering episodic and addictions-focused care. They collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless, client-centered continuity of care across MNSCHS communities.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate, with a Master's degree preferred, and be in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Required experience includes three to five years of related work, knowledge of all stages of substance abuse, and eligibility for Suboxone/Methadone training.
