Responsibilities

Cardiac Specialists, a highly respected cardiovascular practice affiliated with Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their growing team.

As one of the largest and most established cardiology groups in Connecticut, Cardiac Specialists has provided outstanding cardiovascular care to patients throughout Southern Connecticut for more than 40 years. This opportunity offers the chance to join a collegial, physician-led practice with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, access to advanced cardiac technologies, and a clear pathway to partnership.

  • Join a collaborative team of:
  • 15 Non-Invasive Cardiologists
  • 4 Interventional Cardiologists
  • 3 Electrophysiologists
  • 6 Advanced Practice Providers
  • The practice maintains offices throughout Southern Connecticut and provides hospital coverage at:
  • Bridgeport Hospital
  • Milford Hospital
  • Danbury Hospital
  • They offer a comprehensive range of cardiovascular diagnostic and treatment services, including:
  • Echocardiography
  • Stress Echocardiography
  • Nuclear Cardiology
  • Vascular Imaging
  • Cardiac CT
  • Cardiac MRI
  • Structural Heart Programs

  • TAVR

  • Peripheral and Vascular Interventions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure

Proficiency in

  • Echocardiography
  • Stress Echocardiography
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
  • Nuclear Cardiology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Imaging (CTA and Cardiac MRI)
  • Structural Echocardiography
  • Heart Failure
  • Cardio-Oncology
  • Vascular Imaging
