TheraPeds Partners is a Colorado based, therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with our local schools to provide Physical Therapy (PT) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a part-time, on-site role as an Physical Therapist (PT) serving a school located in Greenwood Village, CO.
The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details
Part-time school schedule 1-2 days per week
September 2026- May 2027
Elementary through High School grades
Job duties: direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, case management, supervision of a PTA
Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time
In-person, on campus
Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
Manageable caseloads
$65.00– $75.00+/hour (based on experience and employment arrangement)
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
State License as Physical Therapist
National License: APTA (Preferred)
Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
Experience working with children
Strong foundation in planning and implementing treatment, exercises, manual therapy within developmental therapeutic models to support students within the school setting.
Organizational and time management skills
Proficient in use of technology
Fingerprint background clearance
Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements
Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
